TAKE 3 !…. 3 things not to miss this month in Dublin

1) Appleblim @ the twisted pepper, 14th August.
Regarded as one of the pioneers of the dubstep movement, I can’t really think of a better way to spend a friday night in Dublin than in a dark filthy bass riddled dungeon dancing to this man’s delights ! See previous blog post, along with appleblim podcast here.
2) Banter #2 @ Twisted pepper, 15th August.
Banter is a series of informal , music related discussions. This edition will be focused on ‘DIY culture’. You know, having gigs in your bedroom, that sort of thing. There will be a screening of a documentary entitled Roll Up Your Sleeves by Dylan Haskins before a discussion with Jim carroll ( irish times ) , Dylan Haskins ( Hideaway house, Exchange Dublin ) & Niall Mc Gurk ( Hope productions ) .
Admission is FREE. Just e-mail conor@bodytonicmusic.com with BANTER#2 in the subject line to get your name down.
3) Toejam ! Car Boot Sale @ The Bernard shaw, 29th August.
All I remember from the last one is this : The sun was blazing , there was cold beers, hot falafels and cracking music. Oh, and more hipsters than you can shake a pair of skinny jeans at !
Entry is FREE. More info here.
Apologies to anyone who has noticed the glaringly obvious fact that all 3 events are being run by Bodytonic. They just seem to be putting on the best gigs & events that would interest me in the city at the moment !TOEJAM
